Chloé Lane
 
Chloé began playing Violin at the age of 5, learning the Suzuki Method. In 2004 she won a scholarship to the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School to complete her V.C.E Education. She went on to study Bachelor of Performing Arts at the Victorian College of the Arts under the tutelage of Marco Van Pagee. She has completed all 
A.M.E.B. grades including AMusA (Associate Diploma of Music) in 2007.

She has won countless awards and performed with various orchestras and ensembles throughout Geelong and Melbourne including the Geelong Philharmonic Orchestra, performing, tutoring and conducting Bay City Strings, rehearsing with The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra whilst on work experience. Chloé is also a founding member of Artistique Strings (2000) who play regularly at weddings and functions, and a session musician who moonlights in several bands throughout Melbourne & the Surf Coast.

 

Chloé is now an approved teacher trainee at the Suzuki Talent Education Institute in Melbourne focusing on early childhood education. In 2009, she travelled to Shinichi Suzuki’s hometown in Japan with a group of fellow teachers and musicians to observe the Matsumoto Summer School and again in 2013 to attend the 16th Annual Suzuki World Convention.
